The nearest international airports are in the nearby cities of Katowice, Wrocław and Kraków. From Katowice Airport and Wroclaw Airport to Opole, there is aeroBUS.pl bus with door2door service. Our participants are encouraged to select this location keeping in mind further airport pick-ups and transfers. The airports are located ca. 120 – 150 km from the Symposium venue. It offers a wide range of airline connections from Poland to other countries in Europe. Depending on local traffic and the place of your arrival, the trip can take from 1.5-2.5 hrs.
The city’s main train station is Opole Główne, situated on a railway mainline to Wrocław. It sees busy long-distance and local traffic, including Express Intercity Premium trains. Travel time varies depending on the class of train, with the shortest time needed to get to major direct destinations from Opole being:
